N.L.M Cup Limburg

Now the regatta at Lac de Madine isn't held any more, the Belgian OK fleet are holding a new event at Ophoven - Limburg ( Google maps ). Regatta center at Limburg The venue is a big lake on the Belgian-Netherlands-Luxemburg-German border with a beach, free camping and excellent (but inexpensive) restaurants. The sunshine is continuous and a steady force 3 to 4 breeze is guarranteed (OK, I made up the last bit!). The thinking behind the event is that the loss of the Madine event left a hole in the calendar on the Himmelfahrtstag (Ascension Day) weekend, which is a public holiday.

Dates for the event, which is to be called the N.L.M Cup Limburg are May 13 - 15 . This will be a joint event with lasers (separate starts, natch!).
