Alan, you have hit the nail on the head.
Though there aren’t any stiffeners in the stern tank there is a station one bulkhead and the remaining stiffeners are made just as you describe.
I still have the alloy proctor mast from 1971 with which I assume the boat was first registered. So 1251 is quite original. Once I have finished she will have modern expoy ply desks. I will then see how things go before I will think about replacing the bottom.
After that a few classic events? Who knows? Wales isn’t far away.
