There is an OK training day at South Staffs on 14th October, with the open meeting on the next day, which should be a good weekend. Sailors of all abilities welcome. It is also worth going to any open meeting or the Nationals, as we are a helpful, friendly bunch, who will always advise on ways to improve your OK sailing.
On the carbon issue I am told that we have a possibility that we can import C-Tech carbon masts from New Zealand for less than £1000 including shipping if there is enough interest, as at present there is only really one Carbon mast builder producing at present in the northern Hemisphere, but these masts in my opinion are overpriced (aprox £1200) and poorly finished, although they are fast.
