Timing is everything. More notice and I would have planned – especially with the prospect of free beer – but not sure my presence would have upset the order at the top of the fleet . However, Maybe next year although the Europeans in Bandol will be the biggest draw especially for Brits like me looking for autumn sun before our wet miserable winter.
