Just three points:
1. I would keep some reservoir open meetings as these venues are where the juniors first try out an OK. We lend our boats for them to try more willingly on a reservoir. They get blown away on the sea and never come back. All our good sailors started on inland water (Nick, Jim, even Tony!).
2. I would be much more attracted to one day open meetings. Finding accommodation is a pain and three races in one day is fine for me. It still leaves half the weekend for bike riding.
3. The international sailing is a big plus, especially Medemblik but also great venues such as Warnemunde. I’ve made so many friends over the (50) years of OK sailing since my first OK in 1968. As Karen says the international dimension is a big plus and attracts excellent sailors in from other classes (Charlie)
