come and join us at Tynemouth Sailing club, revel in the finest sailing waters in the North East. Racing on Wednesday nights and sunday afternoons. We have no OK’s (as yet) but thriving racing in a multitude of classes in the handicap fleet, plus class racing for Ents, & Lasers.
The majority of racing is in the mouth of the Tyne with some protection from the harbour walls, but whenever the weather is right we head out to sea. Pods of porpoises and seals are often seen joining in with racing.
Season starts March
I am looking at single handers for next season since my crew went to Uni’ and OK is top of my list.
