Reply To: Ardleigh Frostbite Series
Another windy Sunday (force 4 gusting 5). Only 4 OKs on the water – Andy, Robert, Jake and Lewis.
Race 1 – Andy powered off the start line with Robert stuck in the doldrums behind the bank. Andy gradually increased his lead round the three laps to finish well ahead of Robert with Jake third and Lewis 4th.
Race 2 – Jake got off the start line first but was overtaken by Andy who got to the windward mark first, followed by Jake, Robert (having changed sails) and Lewis (going really well). On the run Jake spent too much time looking at Robert over his shoulder so promptly rolled in to windward. Andy pulled out a good lead to finish first, followed by Robert, then Jake then Lewis. Great sailing. Last two races next Sunday.
