That was exactly my thinking, with some amusing warm-up venues: Kalmar (Sweden) next year and Wellington (New Zealand) in 2010 before the main thing in Largs.
BTW, were Europes/europa moths ever actually competitive in the Int. moth class? My memory is they were a sort of class inside a class aimed at juniors rather than a cutting edge design?

A europa won the European championships in 1963… Yeah they were a short lived design but then most moths have been.
