Reply To: OK 1835 for sale on Ebay NO RESERVE National Champ boat 1976
I had a look at the mast step when I viewed the boat, but I will be looking a lot more closely when I get the boat home. There was certainly plenty of water sat in the bow, so I may be back for further advice! I already have a couple of restoration questions I’m certain I’m not the first to think about, but will wait until I’ve been over the boat properly and do a bit more research before posting a request for advice on the forum. Although there is plenty of information already available on restoring old boats, I’m already thinking I may be able to contribute a short article on how I get on with 1835. I’ll take plenty of before and after photos anyway.
Afraid the evening races are not easy for me, Gareth, as I’m away with work for much of the week. I’ll send a PM about dates, but my next sail may well be Felpham. Only just over 2 weeks away now. Fingers crossed for summer sunshine and a decent sea breeze!
