Looks like you are taking on quite a lot of work. Are you sure it is worth it? You may well find that the glue used in the original contruction of the boat is starting to fail and that all the bits of ply are not held together very well. You could end up spending a lot of money and effort and having a boat that is worth hardly anything at all. Still maybe it’s just a labour of love.
Anyway back to the centreboard. If you take out the two washing up bowls I can see in the picture and shine a torch up to the front of the centreboard case is there a bolt from side to side through the c/b case? If so, can you get it out? If you can’t get it out then turn the boat upside down, locate the bolt and drill vertically towards it through the edge of the c/b with a 6mm drill until you hit the bolt. Enlarge this hole with a bigger drill and a file until it is the same width at the centreboard bolt. You will then be able to lift the plate off the bolt and pull it out through the bottom of the boat. Believe me it works – I’ve done it on two old boats I’ve renovated!
