Nick, that sort of impact training will stand you in good stead over here! Only 12 degC here during the weekend, sat 30-40knts sunday a mere 25knts – boat was hitting 14.8 knots down the reaches. Leave the wife in Auckland mate the weather is much sunnier and warmer up there at the moment. That could change tho! Hopefully we’re not using all the wind up before you arrive.
