Reply To: Weymouth Worlds Qualifier
Robert’s right. It surely can’t be a WQ with a closed entry. I couldn’t justify attending unless its a definite qualifier which is a shame as Weynouth is one of my favourite venues.
What contingency is there if any of the WQs are cancelled due to too much or no wind? It could happen. Surely events have to be reorganised under these circumstances? If people can’t make the reorganised events its tough luck but that’s sailing.
Average points could make a mockery of a qualification series so surely an alternative venue or even two venues need to be sought to cater for those that can’t attend?
Does anyone know how many British entries will be allocated next year?
