That’s not a problem with the dates, and actually the dates give an advantage.
From England you could do a ferry to Ireland, then from Ireland to France, then back to England. That’s 3 ferries for 3 events; the DLR, French Nationals, and Euros. If the dates were different you couldn’t do that.
If the dates were different then any one event on the “wrong” side of the Irish Sea or English Channel would require 2 ferries. With this sequence you get better value.
