Adjustable length also allows you to adjust your toestraps to suit the conditions – if you’ve got choppy waves you can shorten them up a bit to hoist your bum up above the wave tops – on flat water you can let them out a bit and get a bit more hiked.

Oh, plus – I nearly forgot – with the tracks you can include 5kg backing plates – can’t think how I missed that!
