I have supplied a Sea – sure “Universal” stock to a local sailor with a Lark. It had a good finish, seemed quite stiff, is not very heavy and the fittings which are with it can be altered to fit your boat. They have a range of heights. I was going to offer it if anyone wanted a lifting rudder from me. I think it is as good, if not better than most of the commercial alternatives.
The only thing we altered on it was to drill a hole for a pin (plastic breakable variety) to hold the blade down, the pivot pin has a big hand nut but it needs something more positive.
