Will get my new boat next month so I can tell you, however I don’t expect a speed difference. The sandwich boats are very very stiff and so are the wooden boats. I love the shape of my wooden boat, nice allround and good in the light stuff where I used to suffer and I expect the same for the new boat. I haven’t sailed that much with my current rig, so any big difference would come from when I get that one up to speed.
