Reply To: Floor Boards
I am wondering whether they relate to bottom boards. These boards must be removable because they have to be removed before the OK hull is weighted ie the floor boards are not included in the minium weight of the hull.
I have attached a file which shows the type of floor boards or bottom boards which I think the rules refer to.
I have seen pictures of very earlier OK’s which have breakwaters on their decks but no one builds boats like this today. May be the floor boards are simular in this respect ie be may you can fit them but today no one does.
Any ideas?
