Reply To: How should you rescue an OK ?
When i’ve accepted a tow in the past, this has usually been due to lack of wind rather than being rescued so the sail has stayed up and I’ve attached the line to the mainsheet traveller. You have to steer the boat hile underway but the tow line is close to hand and can easily be released when you’re done. I’m sure i’ve done this on windier days with a chop and again the sail up.
