The worlds website is http://www.okworlds2012.okjolle.dk/, and if you click on the ‘Live Tracking’ link you can watch the action in real time. It’s really stressful though. I watched Nick sneak into the lead coming up to the windward mark (second beat, Race 2) and he sets off down the run instead of doing a little tight reach to a ‘1A’ buoy that’s designed to stop boats rounding straight down the throat of anyone coming to the mark on port. By the time he’s realised his mistake, he’s back to 4th and I’m a fagpaper’s width from a coronary! Then, coming up to the finish, he’s on the righgt hand side of the course, and there’s a shift to port that lets in a couple of boats that were on the left, truly unlucky, but it raised my blood pressure another couple of notches!
