the easy way is to just sheet the sail in about 3/4’s on land then pull the cunningham down hard. You should get a crease that runs up in a straight line from the cunningham point to the top. The crease should be even all the way up. If it disappears near the top then there is either too much curve in the bottom or not enough in the top and vice versa. If it is a really deep crease then there may be too much all over. The idea is that it should be even all the way which means the curve cut into the sail matches the curve of the mast.
The actual amount of curve is less important than the shape of the curve.
