Looking at the pics in the Ad i am almost certain the boat is actually 2024 which is a composite boat built by Hoares, not the earlier number as suggested in the ad.
If it is 2024 its actually a boat with a good racing record (runner up at Nationals, Inlands & multiple event winner – once owned by Hedley Fletcher who was a top sailor in the early 90’s. Some of the Hoare boats had problems with breakdown of the foam in the floors – it is easily identified because the cockpit floor becomes very flexible.
I think its worth a bid.
