I Am a newbie to the class. Not strictly true as sailed an OK in Chichester harbour for a couple of years until it got too lonely but only had a tin rig and no real idea how to sail the little “darling”
Have now for my sins invested in a lump of pretty wood that following a couple of months with Tony Thresher has accidentally cost me a heap more than I wanted to spend (a long story but as my wife said when you are in a hole keep digging) and courtesy of a great FX rate has a Dutch lump of carbon stick that was bought in Jan which whilst good for my weight doesn’t match my sail. Leaving all these key issues to one side I could well do with a weekend of insights and help and just straight talking before I venture on to the open circuit. In summary could be really interested in one and subject to cheap Accommodation (are there any cheap B&b’s nearby as I am too old to consider canvas) two days of training. You will need a willIng “tail end Charlie”
