Reply To: Training/Tuning Opportunity
Just a very quick email to say a big thank you to Ken who organised the weekend and Dave who did a fantastic job. I have to admit to whimping out today as having collected 3 lumps on the top of my head on a roll gybing training run together with a sore back and knackered knees (Dave has told me nicely that my toestraps are too long) I decided that discretion for this 58 year old would be the better part of valour. Besides they did not need to see me practicing breast stroke as opposed to tacks.
All I can say is yes please to another day as and when it makes sense and as a newbie to the class association all I can say is that I was made to feel really welcome and was stunned when Dave insisted I borrow his training sail – mine apparently is a hopeless match to my mast – to see how i get on with it. The answer no doubt will be …. Very well ….. Now when did he say the needed it returned.
