The usual arrangement is a slot in the centreboard (bottom front corner of the board), which fits over the centreboard bolt in the c/b case. There is then a screw of some type which passes through the board, from one or other edge, ‘closing off’ the slot to keep the board in place on the bolt. You might also find a ‘packer’ in the slot, held in place by the screw. This is there to eliminate play in the arrangement. It might fall out as you remove the screw (it usually does!), so don’t lose it! Once it’s all out, pull the board off of the bolt and wiggle it out. Try getting it out from the bottom first, (it might be a bit tight), if that don’t work, try the top.
