Ali mast wanted for boat number 1824 in the Northwest Area??

Hello,

I recently bought an ‘Ok Dinghy’ (Sail No. 1824) to do up over the summer. Unfortunately ive noticed that the mast is in poor condition and wonder if anyone has a needlespar mast for sale??

Does anyone have any information on this particular boat? and who built it? Its a GRP hull with a woodern deck.

Hi Richie,
if you ask Andy Turner (andy-turnerATdsl.pipex.com) he can probably tell you who the first owner was and what date the boat was first registered but generally that’s about all the info we have. If you post a pic on the boats database (or on here) everyone can have fun suggesting who built it and you’re pretty well certain to get the right answer.
Mast-wise, your best chance is South Staffs (lots of OKs, can’t believe they don’t have a mast looking for a home), email Mike (MEdwardsATclinovia.co.uk) Edwards (class chairman) or Neil (alfie2485ATgooglemail.com) Goodhead (vice chairman), who’ll know what’s about. If you’re a lot further north than that, I noticed there were some ok masts under the clubhouse at South Windermere: I expect Daz (darenpriorAThotmail.com) Prior knows who they belong to.
