boom wanted

Hi,
I’m looking for a boom to put 1728 back on the water.
anyone have a one spare?

There’s one on the Boats for Sale page – https://www.okdinghy.co.uk/oksale.html. Is that any good? Except that the hole at the gooseneck that the pin goes through gets a bit elongated with time, they don’t wear out!

have emailed the seller but the advert dates from last feb so not too hopefull.

I emailed James a couple of months ago about the mast when I had 1728. He hadn’t managed to sell it so you never know.

yeah get adifferent mast while you at it cause the one chris had was utterly useless

A little harsh I feel burt! The mast is in very reasonable condition and I think Chris would have made it work much better by standing it more upright.

but it bends off all the time just saying tbh no real power in the mast not even for a lighter person wouldn’t work out well

also 1774 is fixed and back on sunday (if the lake isn’t frozen)

I have an old boom you can have. Its quite heavy & doesn’t have a lever, but its a freebie. All you need to do is come & get it
