Burghfield OK and Phantom Open – 6th October 2012

Event Details

Burghfield sailing club OK and Phantom Open is on Saturday 6th October 2012, with the first race scheduled for an 11am start. There will be three races over the course of the day, one before lunch and two back to back in the afternoon from approximately 1.30pm.

Registration will be from 9.30am upstairs in the main clubroom. A race briefing will take place beneath the balcony at 10.30am. With the three races scheduled there will be one discard with two to count. All racing will take place in accordance to the Club open meeting Sailing Instructions available to download below.
Prize giving will be at the end of the day in the main Clubroom.

Entry for the event is £12 per boat on the day or £10 per boat if pre-registered using the link below. catering will be available for both breakfasts and lunch and I will endeavour to ensure that our caterers are up early and providing bacon butties for the early arrivals! Hi Guys

Only 3 boats have so far signed up for the Burghfield open? If you are thinking of coming could you please sign up for it otherwise i will have to cancel the event

Burghfield open is next saturday event is definitelly going ahead. but could still do with a few more OK’s.
one bit a good news: the very small amount of weed we had this year is now gone.

Ah darn. I didn’t realise where Burghfield was, otherwise the Irish contingent might have been able to do the event. Nicole has business in Maidenhead that weekend so we could have arranged transport.

Two OK events within a week would have been a funny change.

So, lesson to Hugh. Learn English geography a bit better. Meantime, for all of you that are closer, get in there and go sailing.

Hi Tom,

Sorry but i wont be able to make it this weekend.

On a completely different note, i am selling my N12 – Its a Man of war with full carbon rig and a v good suit of alverbanks. Do you know anyone at Burghfield looking for a good cheap boat. I am asking £1950, so its a lot of kit for that kind of money.
