Charter a boat for Brightlingsea??

Hi,

Many of you have probably seen me lurking and asking stupid questions on the forum.

By now I think I’ve gotten past the complete beginner stage and it may be time to try my hand at a couple of UK events to complete my apprenticeship…or at least the baby steps.

Brightlingsea is a LONG tow from Dublin so I thought I might ask if there’s a boat available for lend/charter for the event. I’m running a Ceilidh mast rather than the latest C-Tech or Aardvark and a reasonably well used sail so I don’t need (and probably couldn’t take advantage of) the latest kit…not that I’d turn it down.

Anyway, if there’s someone with a boat in the area that they’re not going to be using I’d love to hear.

Honest…I’m gentle on boats. I’ve been sailing Chris Arnell’s old Milky Bar Kid for a year and haven’t broken anything yet (except my head a couple of times)
