The next RYA coaching session at Grafham is on the weekend of October 29th/30th. The last one was excellent – 5 OKs attended. We need 10 OKs to get our own coach for the two days. The cost is £100 but includes several meals. If you would like to go let me know.

Having spent most of last winter at Topper coaching weekends I’m convinced that this is better value for money than buying new gizmos for the boat!
Its quiet simple to hire an RYA coach for a day or a weekend and 100 – 200 pounds per day will get you a very good guy who could cope with 5-6 boats – so this is probably a cost-effective way we could organise a number of coaching weekends through the winter. I can’t make Grafham but how many sailors would be interested in some winter coaching & do you have clubs that would be able to host a session & provide a Rib or two?
Christchurch is too tidal & basically closed for the winter but I’m happy to help find an RYA coach & the chance to do some winter training with other OK’s would be useful!
