Hi everyone
Reminder for Dabchicks Open Meeting 15-16th June
6 races total (3 per day) with Nationals style triangle/ sausage courses
Reaching finishes for a quick turn around of the races.
Briefing midday on the Saturday, launch straight after
£30 entry( £20 for competitors aged 20 or under at the 1st January 2013).
There are plenty of places to stay on mersea island for anyone not been here before. A club member has offered camping in the garden at his house which is a short walk from the club.
Hope to see lots of boats there – sign up on the fixtures list on the OK website which also has the NOR
I just read the NOR and it asks for entries to be sent by post to arrive by next Monday 10th!
It does say “late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the race committe”, but they could say no.
Just thought people might not have noticed this!

Although it does mention entries by post, you won’t have a problem entering on the day. If you are coming it would be useful if you could add your name to the signup list, as this will help the club get an idea of numbers beforehand.

As you can see there is food available on the Friday evening if you turn up early (but please book ahead for that). On Saturday night we have arranged top quality Fish and Chips from the local Oysterbar, you will be able to order that when you register on Saturday morning.

1 race sailed, 3 races tomorrow and lighter winds so if anyone wants to come for the day you’ve only lost your discard !
