Just a reminder for those entering the Northern Championships at Filey you can avoid the late entry fee by entering on line via Filey Sailing Club page or Sailracer before this Sunday.
The Club are also offering ridiculously cheap evening meals and camping.
A nice seaside town with sandy beach to keep sailors and partners happy. Hope to see you there.
Yea done that – that’s the first time i’ve encountered sailracer ?Took me over an hour on my phone (as currently abroad) please tell me the financial saving was worth it. Filey is a great sailing venue. PLUS you get to ho over the Humber bridge (twice) which is always a treat.
I think there’s 6/7 entered. I know of 3 or 4 that are probables. Lovely place. Friendly club. Reasonable forecast.
Nah. He’s a lot slower these days. Un-fit. His downwind wave technique is awful. He wouldn’t recognize a windshift if it hit him in the mush. Can’t start. Can’t tack properly. His gybeing is a joke. Oh… And he never goes on the forum!

A pretty good weekend even if the wind was a tad light on the Sunday. The Saturday was fantastic sailing and we all were left wondering what those waves would have been like with a just a couple more knots of breeze
