Hope everyone had a great Christmas season in your part of the World! Best wishes to all members of OKDIA countries for 2012. Thanks to all the GBR website forum contributors for another wonderful OK year. Congratulations for such an entertaining website. Great memories from your Worlds in Largs and later time in Scotland, it was a very enjoyable series. So glad we didn’t have weather as experienced over the past few weeks or so! Saw some video coverage of the wild seas breaking over the promenade where we walked through the town. Might have been a little difficult to launch off the boat ramp!
Good luck Nick for your forthcoming award event. Hopefully you will mount the dais and fly the OKDIA flag. The recent event in Perth might have shortened your price with the bookies! Whatever the outcome, congratulations for your nomination. A very just reward for many years of enthustiastic commitment to OKDIA events.
Looking forward to catching up with many of you at our 50th Worlds in Denmark next year. If you are still thinking about it, just do it! You will enjoy every moment at Vallensbaek and in the city of wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen. Thanks again Simon for your very much appreciated assistance in this regard.
Don’t miss seeing our usual attempt to demolish the Sydney Harbour Bridge in our midnight fireworks display tonight. It will be spectacular!

Yeh lets hope Nick picks up the award. It would be great for the OK Dinghy and for amateur sailing. Fortunately they don’t know what antics Nick has got up to over the years. If they did he might be nominated for an all together different award!!!!
