Hi All

This years Inlands are at Northampton SC this weekend (2/3 Oct). Briefing will be at 11am on the Saturday with the first start at Midday.

NoR and SI are available http://www.northamptonsailingclub.org/index.asp?selection=Calendar&subsel=Open%20Meetings or under fixtures on the OK website.

They are also asking those wishing to camp to let them know beforehand. You can either fill out the online form http://www.northamptonsailingclub.org/index.asp?selection=Contact%20Us&subsel=Contact%20Form&area=committee&contactid=18 or phone 01604 880248

Please note the SI state there will be 5 races as NSC have gone for this as standard for weekend regattas so it is easier for them to run their club racing. However as this is our Inlands we have asked that they run 6 races.

we only did 5 races last year and I thought it was much better than hanging around for a sixth race and going home in the dark….

I am inclined to agree with Robert – if we can’t get a start for race 6 before 1:30 , then it does seem a long time to hang around.

Usefully we are forecast 5 knots on Sun morning starting to build to 15 knots through the afternoon – we can watch it from the clubhouse during prizegiving
