Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me more about the K 1655? It’s for sale here in the Netherlands…
Shame about the wind conditions last weekend in Medemblik. I was there on saturday and met some of the competitors… Better luck next year. Hope to race myself then, as my boat is nearing completion…

Really sorry I missed you on Saturday. Maybe someone knows about K1655, but for sure it was built in 1971/1972, so it’s a pretty old boat. If it’s plastic, I think Seamark Nunn built most plastic boats at that time. If it’s wooden, Don O’Donnell built more wooden boats then, so those are the most likely builders, but there were lots of boats built by lots of builders and lots of amateur built too, so it isn’t certain……
Can you create a new entry for the boat at https://www.okdinghy.co.uk/php/boats/input.php, please? Just put in what you know – it’s better than no data at all!
If you or anyone else is buying it you should take a good look at the bottom mast step before you sail!
Dave1655 was first registered in August 1972. I’m afraid I can’t tell you any more as they didn’t keep records of the builder at that time.
