Mast Rake

My old message (which had some excellent comments) got deleted on the website move, so asking for comments & advice again on Mast rake.

Personally I seem to be sailing with the rig more upright than Deryck which seems to be working well (for me), but curious to know actual settings / numbers people are using so I can refer against.

Can people let me know the following:

* Stern to back of mast measurement:

* Rake:

A good starting point would be approx; 6150 rake and, off the top of my head, 3260/80 from the stern. Got it all written down somewhere but they’re rough figures to start from. Loads of different hull shapes, f/a mast bends and sail designs so everyone will be slightly different.

Get yourself down to Stokes bay on the 25th, no doubt there’ll be lots of measurements taken

Is the stern the upright of the transom or the edge of the back deck.

I am sure I will find out on Saturday if the storms pass by then otherwise will have to continue learning from here?!!

and its the center line on the deck where the transom meets the back deck. basically just above the top pintel
