Is it just me or is the RYA website broken, OK is not a listed boat to get a new certificate?!

Whats the process for getting a replacement cert?

When I bought 2071 a certificate wasn’t provided. Do I contact the RYA?

RYA. I think the  process is listed on there website.

So the OK is not a listed boat on the automatic renewal drop down list, I have e Mailed the RYA but I don’t expect a response as they are useless…

I just hope I don’t have to re-join the RYA to get my shiny ownership change completed. Meanwhile Ill keep sailing….

Send a letter, your certificate and a cheque to the address below, requesting that your measurement certificate be updated and re-issued, the fee will depend upon whether you are a member of the RYA.

Certification Fees
The fees for Measurement Certification are the same for new boats and change of ownership or detail. These, including VAT, are:-
Full/Junior Member of the RYA – 15.32
Non-member – 25.53
Duplicates or Replacements – 25.53 (no discounts applicable).
RYA Gold Members – 1 Free certificate per calandar year.

Get rid of that stick of rhubarb you are using and buy a new mast whilst you are writing cheques!

Unfortunately I can’t afford a new mast, I know somebody who trying to shed a 2nd hand one but that’s too steep for my Skinny budget, I’ll just have to eat less!
