Hi all and happy new year….

I’m new to the fleet brought 2119 from Robert end of last year…and planning to sail most of the opens etc…

just looking at locations i was just want to know: at Christchurch where is racing due to take place…in the creek or the channel… :?:

Also was thinking after Morcombe weekend: anyone thinking of carry on going up to Largs for a sail for the week…??

Hi Martin,
Great to hear you bought 2119, welcome to the class!
I sailed in the Christchurch open a couple of years ago and we were outside the harbour.
I really enjoyed it – friendly club and generally a very nice place. The sail down the harbour took about 20-30 minutes, so you do need to allow for it. Very pleasant sail though, and the harbour does offer an extra option if it’s blowing old boots.
There are some photos and videos from the event (Saturday was a training day), if you search OK sailing on you-tube you will find them.
Should be a good event!
