This is just a bit of sharing the joy of the OK from a class newbie. I bought mine at the end of last year after a little trial sail in it which I loved. Immediately after buying it I promptly did my knee cartilage in while sailing her for the 3rd time (requiring being wheeled up the slip in a wheelchair which I can report as being as embarrassing as it sounds). Six months on and my knee got fixed a month ago, and I got back in the boat last week. I honestly have to say, that my two sails last week and one tonight (in a bit of breeze) have confirmed that initial feeling of joy in sailing the OK. It really is a cracking boat to sail and I’m loving it! Just need to learn to hike harder and not sit right at the back of the cockpit downwind.
