OK Juniors

Hello all
I had promised to lend my boat & do some training at the OK Juniors on 18th Oct.

Unfortunately, that’s the day the B14s get loaded to got to AUS. Much earlier than I thought it would be (9 weeks before arrival), ships are on a go slow due to oil prices, worth bearing in mind for NZ…

So is anyone heading up from the South and could take my boat so a Junior can still sail it?

I’ll still try to make it on the Sat night to provide some more comedy coaching.

I’m already taking a boat up – has anyone got a double trailer we could use to get Nick’s there as well?
Nick if all else fails I might be able to contrive a trip up to the midlands the week before & drag yours up to South Staffs. You’d need to tow it home yourself afterwards, that’s all.

It’d be good if you could help Chris (or someone else) as we have a driver who has been promised the use of Nick’s boat.

Alan Price has also kindly offered his boat via the sign up and we are actively organising a helm for that one so please do come as well Alan, that is unless you have a helm in mind.

Or Neil has come up with a cunning alternative plan (he does have Baldrick qualities) – he will very kindly take the boat back to South Staffs from the Inlands if someone can get it there or if anyone knows someone looking to get into OKs I may lend them my boat for the INlands

Its very important that these boats get there cos, courtesy of a newly found benefactor, we may be offering a prize draw for the owners who lend their boats to non OK fleet members. This would be drawn on Saturday and will probably entail a cash prize! It’ll cover your bar bill Nick.
