having just cycled 30 miles in torrential rain and with 20kt+ of head winds in Slovenia (the excellent white at €8 per litre in the winery we are staying in – €50 a night- has subsequently helped) I can only say that sunny Herne Bay sounds good. Hope you all have a great time although given the forecast (can I have it here please) I think that Burt will need to Bang a couple of good results in early doors before the likes of Woodsie, Terry Curtis, and Bill Byers enjoy the lighter stuff (oops nearly missed the VC but then he claims to only sail when he can sail faster than he can walk). As I said enjoy the few days make sure the bar takings make up for any cash shortfalls and make sure the VC does not lose his mobile when he goes walkabout (an aborigine pastime that involves visiting religious shrines after dark).
