Actually I spotted Kevin Moss sailing his OK in a local TV news item about Newhaven & Seaford S.C just a couple of weeks ago.
And if you’re looking for seriously random publicity – a woman artist selling paintings on Christchurch Quay was displaying a painting that had a view of Christchurch Harbour with a bunch of boats sailing. I recognised my own boat from the painting – she even got the colours of my spraytop correct! Shame I was about a mile away from where she was painting & I couldn’t spare £250 for one of her limited edition prints….but at least I’m immortalised in oils!
Has anyone else managed to blag their way onto TV or into the public spotlight – either through sailing or some other means? Might be some good stories out there!

I was on BBC 1 for a tv programme called spending other peoples money, they did an interview with me about one of my wrk collegues i was on for about 2 mins (I am now available for supermarket openings etc. etc.)

There was of course a certain young Norfolk based boat builder who made it onto the BBCs working lunch programme 6 weeks ago.
