Over Deck Mainsheet Traveller

I have just noticed the OK shown above on ebay with a very usually Mainsheet Track. I was wondering if anyone has had experience of using one of these?

I have always wondered how effective full beam Mainsheet Travellers are as the side decks have to be cut away but this OK has found a novel way around this issue.

The problem with this set up is the distance from the track to the boom. You probably will find that the blocks meet before you have actually pulled the boom down enough.
