Easter Egg Trophy this weekend. Yesterday Dave Cooper was in the safety boat and Pete Turner snoring (7am start). Alex Scoles got ahead after Andy had a premature start and controlled the race from the front. Beaten into second on handicap by a Laser (Andy third). Four OKs out this morning. Dave in the lead off the line with Pete and Alex behind and Andy further back (wrong end of the line). Alex lost his rudder for a while stranded on the marsh (unfortunately covered by a big spring tide). Pete and Andy passed Dave with Alex well behind. In the end Pete held on to first, Andy next, then Alex just pipped Dave on the finish line. More tomorrow.

Andy, Plan to come & sail at Overy this weekend 21/22nd. Need some practice before Medemblik.
I hope there will be a few OK`s about. I did email Dave Cooper re getting my sail measured but nothing heard, so guess email went astray.
If you are about Dave, could you measure this w/e please?
Looking forward to the sail, apart from the 7am start of course!
      Cheers,
      James.

Yup, I’ll be there too! 7 am! It’s when all the best racing happens!
Didn’t get your email, I don’t think James, maybe my idiot program sent it straight to junk, all too possible!

Geat, catch up with you both on Saturday.
Just found out I can rig my OK inside my workshop, with mast between the roof trusses when raining!
      Much nicer than bimbling outside.
      Cheers, James.
