I have put my 70’s Henriksen Rebuild on the boatlist.
I bought it as a club boat for Weymouth a few years back, at the time it didn’t have a bulkhead and someone who wasn’t really capable took it out on a windy day resulting in a smashed up deck. After 2 years drying out in the barn and not wanting to scrap the boat i took a mould off the front portion of the deck and rebuilt the whole front end, moving the step and bearing forward and adding a bulkhead. The boat has been faired and resprayed the original Henriksen Orange, most of the fittings are new including hatch covers etc. I replaced the foils with refurbed laminated ones and modified the rudder to 15degs. It was within 1 kg of min weight once finished.
I have always thought these full bowed boats were a good shape and ahead of their time, I sailed the boat at Bourne End week and it seemed pretty quick and well balanced. If anyone is looking for a low maintenance boat which is ready to go, it would be a great CVRDA racer and i am open to offers.
