side decks

can anyone shed any light on how to strengthen the side deck next to where the track is so it doesn’t collapse. i have some ideas but not sure which one will work best.

1. using ply underneath it to the cockpit floor in a triangle shape.

2. bolt some strong wood to where the traveller track is fixed and epoxy underneath the side deck

any other suggests will be helpful!

The end of my track is bolted to the gunwhale so it isn’t really dependent on the side deck. Is your problem that the track is trying to rip it’s way up through the side deck?

no its that i have to build around the bolts cause my decks will hopfully look something like alexs i have decided to build knees.
