Hi Terry,
Well, it wasn’t quite windy enough, but a gorgeous day apart from that. We got slaughtered by the solos, totally because of their ridiculous handicap and not at all because they were being sailed by people like Jim Hunt. Deryck got awarded two DNCs by the race committee for no particular reason (but they said they’d re-instate him!). Nick went mad and turned up wih his Ent to sail in the 2 man class and his RS400 to sail in the assymetric class, obvously getting as much in as he can before his life turns into a grey-brown blur of not enough sleep and too many nappies! I must say, considering he’s having twins it doesn’t really show yet. Anyone know when he’s due? Bob Austin from Milton Keynes SC was there in 1748 (grp Seamark Nunn). It’s really nice to see another new face in OKs. Bob’s been sailing ICs and he’s planning to come to the Winters so we’ll be seeing him there, I hope. There was some really exotic stuff in the assymetrics – foiler moths and foiling RS700s, assymetric Canoe, actually won by a cherub, I think.
When NSC have some results up and we can see whether Deryck was first OK or last OK I’ll post the results so far for the TVA Winter series, then everyone can see what they need to do at Oxford

Saturday was a very interesting days sailing trying to beat the solos on the water stood no chance on handicap though? In the first race only Jim Hunt beat me on the water 2nd solo was only seconds behind me. Second race fell away a bit at the end my fault.
NSC are going to re-instate my 2 dsc reason for this is because ……………
forgot my own sail number well i have had the boat less than a year?
