UK team in Aus NZ Interdominions

The annual Interdominion championsips between New Zealand and Australia are about to commence at Black Rock YC over Easter.
With 46 entries and 8 of the top 12 sailors from last years worlds competeing, it promises to be an interesting regatta.
There will be a UK team competing (although not part of the official event) with a surprising number of entries (approx 10) holders of UK passports.

We are sailing for an out of date warm bottle of Youngs best bitter. :mrgreen:Good effort on forming a British team Tom!

NickWhere were you Nick in our hour of need? I am afraid the mother country floundered. We were a disfunctional ten (names witheld out of embarassment) with only Alaistair showing great form, by winning the last race. It was however a fantastic and aimiable regatta blessed with an almost perfect mix of conditions in the sun at Black Rock.
The 6 Aussie boats have left today for Largs, and the Kiwi container of 12 has sadly returned home, if the Scots distilled rum rather than whisky, from my observations last week, it may have been a different story.
