Weymouth Nationals – social events
16th August 2015 at 3:00pm #1280
Hi all, only 10 days to go before this years nationals so I thought I’d update you with some additional plans for social events over and above those being arranged by WSC.
Thursday 27th August – Curry (arranged by WSC) and quiz night (will also be a “child friendly” version if needed)
Friday 28th August – group meal currently booked at Enzo, Italian Restaurant, the Esplanade for 7.30pm, see menu at http://www.enzo-ristorante.co.uk .
I’ve provisionally booked for 30 so if you’re planning on coming along could you let me know asap. The restaurant have asked for a pre-order 2 days beforehand so if you could peruse the menu and let me have numbers attending and food choices asap that would be great. Otherwise may need to choose off the £21.95 for 3 course set menu at registration. The restaurant is within easy walking distance from WSC so can return for drinks etc after the meal. It would also be helpful if you could let me know if you’re not interested and then I can revise numbers with Enzo.
Family and friends day out planned for Sat 29th August to Corfe village and Castle. Idea will be to car share if possible/ another alternative, if enough interest, is to drive to Swannage and take the steam train to Corfe. Also thought could combine this with afternoon tea in the National Trust tea rooms? National Trust family activities/trails etc available. Be good to know if anyone’s interested in joining in.
If you are planning to bring children along to the nationals (be great if you could let me have numbers/ages) there’ll be some children’s puzzle/activity sheets and crayons + a few games available each day to entertain your offspring in the clubhouse.
e mail is [email protected] – looking forward to hearing from you all!!

Hi all – gold star to the Ludgroves, Pikes, Ramseys, Dave Cooper and Tony Rich for not only confirming they’ll be attending Enzo but also letting me have their food choices. Also thanks to the Carrolls for letting me know they can’t make it. Come on the rest of you – a quick Yes/No will suffice!
