Winter Championship

Simon Cox of Synergy Marine has generously donated this fabulous half model trophy for our Winter Championship. So come along and be the first name on this great looking trophy and be the envy of all your friends by displaying this on your wall.

This year the championship is at Ardleigh Sailing Club, near Colchester in Essex. Always a great event, three races from 11.00. 12 boats already registered.

I’m sure Andy will come back with more details soon.

I’m a bit worried by Robert saying I’ll come back with some more details soon! What more does he want to know? Just get there ready for an 11am start and all will be fine. I believe Nick and Jim are coming so some practice beforehand might be advisable. Ken hopes to be a trolley dolly on crutches.

Great days sailing yesterday with a superb turnout and some new faces. Robert’s writing the report and compiling some video from a number of different cameras. Hopefully well get loads more of this throughout the season. All good for promoting the class. Top three were Nick, Jim and Robert. You’ll have to wait for the report for the rest!

Ah, yup! Head’s fine, thanks! And a huge thank you to whoever hosed my boat out – I bet it was it like an abattoir in there!
The report got posted as soon as Robert sent it – gotta be realistic about these things! The pics will go up in a few batches – First 30 are posted now, sorting them out takes a little while. I’ll try and get the rest posted tomorrow.
Great event! I think we ought to take the Ardleigh catering on the circuit with us!
