We are holding an open training session on the 25th of February, at Stokes Bay SC, which is just under 2 weeks away. The aim is to get people more comfortable in their boats and look at static set up and different techniques for sailing the OK both upwind and downwind.
The club has agreed a £5 fee for the day and we intend to hire a rib to do some filming and coaching from, so costs will be kept low with more people. Ideally we would like 10-15 sailors but the more the merrier and EVERYONE! is welcome.
If you would like to attend just email me at [email protected] and I will add your name to the list.

Andy20th February 2017 at 9:03pm #16042
the cafe does not but the is a mobile cafe which usually comes to these OK events the van wench does bacon rolls and coffee20th February 2017 at 9:25pm #16043
Works for me!!22nd February 2017 at 7:18pm #16418
Right, the forecast has died a little so looking at 20-27 knots which is sailable but might not be for the faint hearted. The breeze is onshore so launching might be a challenge but happy to wade in and help. So far confirmed are;
John Wayling, Andy Martin, Hugh myers, Dave Bourne, Jon Fish, Simon Davis and myself.
£5 for the day paid to the club for use of the facilities, there isn’t a rib available to provide cover. The cafe wont be open until lunch time when we can get some hot drinks etc.
If you are interested let me know.
